THE MICHELBERGER HOTEL

My best friend Gynelle (www.somelikeitessex.blogspot.com) and I recently embarked upon a not so secret mission to Berlin where we set up our not so secret head quarters at the Michelberger Hotel in Friedrichshain. I almost don’t want to blog this because it is such a find and the question about finds like this is whether to keep them secret and enjoy knowing something “they” don’t know or to share them with the world and risk killing their appeal. However, since my blog reaches the eyes of a modest few I have concluded that I can blog this without risking the latter.

Staying at the Michelberger hotel is like owning your own apartment for a few days. The simple yet ingenious design of the rooms accented with little details like Michelberger hotel shower gel bottles reading: “I’m a dirty sexy bitch” (or something like that) and Michelberger water bottles reading: “I’m refreshed and sexy” (or something to that effect), are immediately welcoming. Within 5 minutes you’re calling it home and pretending you’re a graphic designer or up and coming architect. The staff are soo friendly and the people the hotel seems to attract are diverse but share a common open mindedness.
